What’s in my Disneyland Paris bag 2017!

Hi everyone, I hope you have all been well. I took a bit of a break the last two weeks to visit my family back home in Southampton. I had a wonderful time with lots of celebrations and adventures. I’m back in London now, feeling refreshed and there’s just 10 days left until my boyfriend and I leave for Disneyland Paris! Eeeee!

I love checking out other people’s ‘What’s in my bag’ blog posts and videos for Disney parks… and since we will be heading straight to the park from the train station, I thought it would be a good idea to have my park bag ready to pull out and use. So here’s what I’ll be taking in my Disneyland Paris bag!

My mum mentioned to me about this Mickey Mouse bag in Primark a while back and I instantly fell in love with it. It was £9 which I thought was a bit of a bargain and the Mickey ears are super cute. It’s lightweight but still a generous size so you can fit plenty in.

It can be hard to go anywhere without your phone these days, but since my UK mobile data can be used as normal in France now, I thought it would be good to try and Snapchat or share some Instagram Stories from inside the park. It’s also super handy for using Disney park apps too to see what queues are like on rides.

I thought it would be handy to buy a lanyard before getting to the park as they can be quite pricey inside. I picked this Minnie Mouse lanyard up from eBay for £3.99. It also comes with the pocket sleeve too so I can keep my DLP ticket safe, it will also be good to store our meal vouchers for the day too.

We take so many digital photos these days that wind up hidden away in our phone, never to be seen. I used to love spending hours going through photo albums with my nan. I thought it would be nice to take some photos with my Instax camera at Disneyland so I will have physical copies of and can cherish forever. I haven’t uploaded many photos over the last few years of myself to Facebook or Instagram because I simply lost my confidence in how I looked. This year I promised myself to take more photos so hopefully having this camera will encourage me! I have also packed a pack of spare film and batteries.

I’m not exactly sure what the weather will be like when we visit Disneyland Paris, but I thought I’d be optimistic and bring sunglasses in case the weather decides to brighten up for us. Fingers crossed! I picked up these pink and blush metal sunglasses from Primark for £3.

I have been obsessed with all of Primark’s Beauty and the Beast merch this summer. I am still on the hunt for some pieces but was so happy when my boyfriend found this slimline Chip purse for £3. I love the iridescent handle and glittery base. I thought it would make it easy access to a few coins if I need to buy a drink or snack.

I packed tissues, wet wipes, lip gloss, hand lotion, and body spray in my Minnie Mouse pouch so that I can keep fresh and clean around the park. My skin can also get quite oily throughout the day, so I’ve popped in some blotting paper and my Rimmel Stay Matte powder to remove any shine from my face.

I also like to wear quite bold lipsticks, but after eating or drinking, I usually need to do a quick touch up. So I’ve put my Bambi mirror (a gift from my boyfriend but you can get it in Clinton Cards). My current favourite lippy is the Besame Victory Red matte lipstick which is based on the WW2 lipstick the US Army handed to women.

I always like to carry a pen and notebook with me, just in case I find inspiration for something, or I just need to make a quick note of a time/location etc. I picked up this notebook in a set of 3 from Card Factory for 99p! Such a bargain and I felt the saying was very Disney-appropriate.

I read you can refill bottles with water around the park so I decided to grab this Minnie Mouse drink flask from Primark for £3. I thought it would also be handy if I wanted to make a cup of tea before heading off to the park in the morning.

For the last 3 years I have wanted to get myself a new camera so that I can take better photos for my blog and film YouTube videos. In August I decided to finally take the plunge and treated myself to the Canon G7X. I’m still getting used to using it and experimenting with it, but so far I love it! I am going to try and do some mini vlogs at Disneyland Paris so watch this space! I also picked up the mini Manfrotto tripod to make it easier to hold the camera and will also pack a spare battery.

So there you go! That is everything I have packed in my bag for Disneyland Paris. What are your Disney Park bag essentials? Please let me know in the comments below.
